In Austin, the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has given a $15,000 High Demand Job Training (HDJT) grant to Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas. This grant aims to equip local workers for sustained, high-demand career opportunities.

My Possibilities has been granted a workforce training grant of $350,000.

In Austin, My Possibilities, a nonprofit aiding adults with disabilities, has been awarded a $350,000 Texas Talent Connection (TTC) grant by the Office of Governor Greg Abbott. This grant is intended to support creative educational and workforce skills training programs that result in successful job placement, higher earnings, and better job stability for workers in the Workforce Solutions North Central Texas region.


In August, employment in Texas reached record highs.

In Austin, Massachusetts, the state has achieved remarkable economic milestones in August. This includes setting new records for the total number of jobs, the number of employed individuals, and the size of the civilian labor force. The total nonfarm employment has increased by 16,700 jobs, reaching a record high of 13,979,100 jobs, marking the 23rd consecutive month of reaching a new high and the 30th consecutive month of overall growth. Over the past year since August 2022, Texas has added 402,000 jobs, and it continues to surpass the national average in terms of annual employment growth.
